Since it uses only the first 128 patches, the Roland RAP-10 will also provide satisfactory playback. Satisfactory, if not perfect, playback can also be had on a Roland MT-32 synthesizer module with the included SysEx patch data. (This patch data was originally created by Sierra for their game Leisure Suit Larry 6.) One song, the introduction song, is missing because it uses prerecorded audio and not MIDI. Some songs appear to be missing; these songs are, presumeably, not used in the PC remake because their data is not anywhere on any of the game CDs. Both of the game's soundtracks are contained here. The "FM" soundtrack is similar to the original PC-98 soundtrack and is recommended for use with pre-AWE/WaveEffects SoundBlaster cards, Adlib cards, OPL3 cards and other FM-based sound cards. The "GM" soundtrack, meanwhile, was rearranged with a Roland SC-88 synthesizer module; it uses more complex instruments, more channels and higher polyphony. It is recommended for wavetable sound cards/modules, *especially,* as previously mentioned, the Roland SC-xx or RAP-10 cards or derivatives thereof.
