This replaces the zombie with a couple . This is the kinda twisted sex that upsets most people so don't upset them with it and don't show it to children unless you are a children and then don't look at it yourself :) This amounts to cartoon sex. I was curious to see what it would look like. The polygon count is ridiculously high-over 800 triangles but it works fine on my 486. You will want to turn up the vid res and use the f11 key if you want to get a better look. I can't see that this will have much influence on gameplay but maybe somebody wants something like this for an especially demented mod. **** Thanks to: ID Software for DOOM, QUAKE and QTEST1 Bubbah for helping me with the QC code and the positive feedback Rene Post for QuakeMe 3.0, which is by far the best program of its kind Void for the basic "crucified Zombie" code **** [what's still left to be done?] -correct the bounding boxes of the qtest gibs... Revision history ---------------- [ver 0.9] - completely remade the zomplayr.mdl - looks much better now IMHO - crucified player has his own .mdl file now! [ver 0.3] - made some serious QuakeC progress - I still don't know much, but much of the code I wanted was done: - Crucified Players gibbable!!! (hehe, this one was important for me :) - Crucified Player gibs taken from QTEST1, as well as the kick-ass sounds. - new player skin almost finished (keep in mind this was a ten-minute thing, so don't expect too much [ver 0.2] - Some basic code done - it actually worked now using the modified player.mdl Special thanks to Bubbah for getting me started - started to make a new player skin for those damned buddies (they didn't look painfull - too bad for them >:) [ver 0.1] - base frame done - could check the .mdl file out by fooling Quake and renaming the zomplyr.mdl zombie.mdl How to Install the Modification ------------------------------- Make a sub-directory in quake called 'zomplayr' and unzip all the files into it using the -d parameter. From directory 'quake' type: quake -game zomplayr Start a new game and walk to the "hard skill" hallway...
