=========================================================================== Primary purpose : Single play =========================================================================== Title : Hostile Takeover Filename : hostiletakeover.wad Release date : 1/26/2025 Author : DoomManMatt Email Address : [redacted] Misc. Author Info : New to making wads! Description : My first WAD I've made! It is a map for DOOM II that takes approximately 10 -15 minutes to finish. Difficulty is similar to mid-game Doom II, specifically reminding me of Suburbs in difficulty. Features a custom song - like the old Doom songs, its a copy of a rock song. The Story: A small isolated UAC space station sends out a distress signal - demons have invaded the station and are using it to attempt to continue their invasion of Earth! As DoomGuy, you are tasked with going in and wiping the floor with those sons-of-bitches, before escaping using a nearby evacuation rocket. The station might look normal at first, but it won't take long to find the corruption of Hell... This was very fun to make. I hope it is fun for others to play as well! I hope to make more maps for Doom in the future. =========================================================================== * What is included * New levels : 1 Sounds : No Music : Yes Graphics : No Dehacked/BEX Patch : No Demos : No Other : No Other files required : None * Play Information * Game : Doom 2 Map # : 1 Single Player : Designed for Cooperative 2-4 Player : No Deathmatch 2-4 Player : No Other game styles : None Difficulty Settings : Yes * Construction * Base : New from scratch Build Time : 1 Week Editor(s) used : Ultimate Doom Builder, Slade Tested With : PrBoom+, GZDoom * Copyright / Permissions * This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.
