=========================================================================== Update to : v1.1 Advanced engine needed : Boom-compatible (complevel 9) + UMAPINFO Primary purpose : Single play =========================================================================== Title : Thirty years with Doom Filename : 30years.wad Release date : 10 Dec 2023 (RC1), 26 May 2024 (version 1.1) Authors : Russian Doom Community (see below) Email Address : [redacted] Other Files By Authors : Heroes' Tales, freak3.zip, freak4.zip, freak5.zip, Whitemare, Whitemare 2, Speed Master, A Bit of Nostalgia and many others. :) Description : A classic Doom megawad made by level designers at iddqd.ru to celebrate the anniversary of their beloved game. The maps provide a variety of experiences: there are ones authored by newcomers and by experienced mappers, desert cities and snow-covered bases, compact and very large levels. The first episode is based on the original Doom, while the later maps are variations on Doom II-related themes. Warning: the megawad uses nonstandard episode and level progression defined via UMAPINFO, so in an older port like PrBoom+ 2.5.1.4 you will skip large parts of the megawad if you play continuously and enter a secret level.
