More coming up (I promise). Misc. Author Info : Swedish and Norwegian duo. Famous during a brief moment during early 2010's. Description : LIGHT SENSITIVITY WARNING. DO NOT PLAY IF SENSITIVE. A collaboration between Danne and Darkreaver that started in 2014 for Darkreaver and DeathevokatioN's megawad "Revelations of Doom" that never got released (Darkreaver: hey! I'm still working on it!). Each map was supposed to be named after a death metal song, so we named it after Regurgitate's 13 seconds long masterpiece "Funeral Genocide". Even though Regurgitate is a grindcore band, the map title got a pass. Danne: I remember Darkreaver sent me a rough sketch of some areas he had made and I connected them and made some new areas. My memory is foggy as to who made wich part, but I think I made most of the later areas and fights. The theme is obviously taken from Vanguard, but it just looks so good in my opinion. Skillsaw was always a huge inspiration back then so this is my homage to Vanguard in a way. The fights are mostly staged, but with some incidental combat thrown in. It's not as good looking or exciting as the releases the community puts out nowadays, but I think it plays rather well. Darkreaver: To be honest, I can't remember much about the making of this map. I'm pretty sure Danne made all the big and epic stuff, and I mostly made some of the connecting areas. Maybe it's time I play the map again, huh? My parts in this map is not exactly something I'd pull up for a showcase of my works, but the map as a whole is an epic and brutal journey!
