=========================================================================== Advanced engine needed : Any limit-removing source port Primary purpose : Single play =========================================================================== Title : Curiosity and the Cat Filename : catc.wad Release date : 06.07.2022 Author : Ravendesk Email Address : [redacted] Description : Curiosity and the Cat is a limit-removing bite-sized slaughter map for Doom 2, inspired by projects like MSCP and Haste. Visuals (simple as they are), were designed with software rendering in mind, so please be sure to use software rendering for the best experience. Difficulties are implemented. UV should be fairly challenging. HMP has just a few less monsters than UV, but gives you much more health, armor and ammo and is much more forgiving in result. HNTR gives you all you need including two invulns to just have fun and blast through the enemies. If you are unsure how much challenge you want, select HMP for your blind playthrough. Additional Credits to : Interpic is an illustration by John Tenniel. Map 01 midi is "Aliens, Say Your Prayers!" by Bobby Prince. Map name for intermission screen was generated with DoomWriter. =========================================================================== * What is included * New levels : 1 Sounds : No Music : Yes Graphics : Yes Dehacked/BEX Patch : Yes Demos : No Other : No Other files required : None * Play Information * Game : Doom 2 Map # : 01 Single Player : Designed for Cooperative 2-4 Player : Player starts only Deathmatch 2-4 Player : No Other game styles : None Difficulty Settings : Yes * Construction * Base : New from scratch Build Time : Around 1 week Editor(s) used : Ultimate Doom Builder, SLADE 3, WhackEd4, Doom Writer May Not Run With : Anything pure vanilla, e.g. Chocolate Doom Tested With : dsda-doom 0.24.3 -complevel 2, Crispy Doom 5.11.1, GZDoom 4.6.1 * Copyright / Permissions * This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
